A wonderful evening was had by all at the official launch of the 10th Anniversary of A Taste of Donegal 2018 which took place on Wednesday 25th July 2018 on board the Donegal Bay Waterbus. It was very well attended by Public Representatives, Minister Joe McHugh, Mayor of Donegal Cllr. Seamus O Domhnaill, Mayor of Donegal Town Pauric Kennedy along with councillors Niamh Mc Gilloway Kennedy, Tom Conaghan, Michael Naughton, Noel Jordan, Chairperson Donegal Town Community Chamber Bernie Mulhern, our local Clergy, Chefs, Sponsors, Exhibitors, Press and Volunteers. Chairperson of A Taste of Donegal, Ernan Mc Gettigan thanked everyone involved with the Food Festival over the last 10 years for their continued support and financial assistance, in particular the elected members, Donegal County Council, Fáilte Ireland, Taste 4 Success, Donegal Local Enterprise Office and Bord Iascaigh Mhara. Mr Paul Mc Loone, former North West Manager Fáilte Ireland, preformed the launch and emphasised how important events such as A Taste of Donegal are to the town and the surrounding areas. Garry Martin, Director of Service Donegal County Council, launched the new Taste of Donegal website. The delicious buffet was prepared and served by Outside Catering Donegal, Peter Campbell and Briege Mc Atee. Guests were entertained by local musicians Revolutionary & Dylan Thomas.
