Senior Sous Chef at Harvey’s Point Hotel
Colin Mc Kee completed his professional cookery degree in the renowned catering college in Killybegs, Co Donegal in 2006 and has never looked back.
He started working in Harvey’s Point Hotel in 2006 and has been there since. During this time, Harvey’s point have given him a lot of great opportunities, to travel to several Michelin starred restaurants, to gain new work experiences, develop his skills as a chef and sharpen his culinary knowledge.
Colin now enjoys developing menus for the lakeside restaurant and other food outlets at the hotel, using top quality, locally sourced Irish produce as the base of his cooking philosophy. Encouraging and developing a great team, always looking to improve and reach new highs. As a chef he believes he has to challenge himself every day in order to improve and learn new things. For him, food is a passion, a challenge and a way of life. Colin is now the senior sous chef at Harvey’s Point Hotel.
