The Pig’s Ear
Multi-award winning chef Stephen has been a chef on The Restaurant from day one and this is the eleventh series. He loves being on the show and says that “celebrities don’t realise that it’s such a long day. At the start they are light-hearted, thinking it will be grand, but as the day goes on they get more competitive and take it to heart. They either have to step up to the plate or crumble.”
Winner of the Georgina Campbell Chef of the Year Award in 2014, Stephen was described by Georgina as, “a champion of Ireland’s finest produce who revels in taking traditional Irish favourites and presenting them in a fresh, creative way.”
Stephen’s restaurant ‘The Pig’s Ear’ was awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand. This is an award for ‘Good food at affordable prices. He has also recently opening a new sister restaurant called Mr.Fox.
