Anthony Armstrong, a past president of the Panel of Chefs of Ireland on their Golden Jubilee year in 2008, also held the role of both PR and marketing officer for the prestigious organization
Apart from this heavy workload, Anthony was also the culinary director of the panel of chefs and demonstration chef with the N.I Seafood/BIM and Ulster pork forum.
This talented and innovative chef has also been associated with some of the best restaurants in Ireland and the UK including The Tower in Knightsbridge, The Lobster Point in Warrenpoint and more recently the Filet of Sole in Donegal Town.Last year Anthony received the accolade of being appointed a member of the World Association of Chefs Society where he is also an accredited judge.
More recently Anthony worked as Executive Chef at Henry’s Bar and Restaurant Cashelgarren, Co Sligo. and currently The Millpark Hotel, Donegal Town
Anthony also represented The Food Coast, Donegal in the 5th All-Ireland Chowder Cook-Off competition in the Acton Hotel in April of this year, which featured 32 professional restaurant chefs, fishermen and makers of commercial chowders, each selected to represent their county, in competition for the title of All-Ireland Chowder Champion.
