Simon DelaneySimon Delaney has been working as an actor/writer/director for the past 17 years, working across theatre, television and film in Ireland, the UK, and most recently in the US.

 Familiar to Irish TV, theatre and film audiences he currently presents ‘Saturday AM’ on TV3.

 Simon recently competed in ‘Celebrity Masterchef Ireland’, making it all the way to the series final.

 Recent film credits include ‘Delivery Man’ with Vince Vaughn, ‘This Must Be the Place’ with Sean Penn, ‘Mrs. Browns Boys D’Movie’ with Brendan O’Carroll, and ‘The Conjuring 2’ with Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga.

 Television credits include ‘Moone Boy’ & ‘Trollied’ (Sky One), ‘Roy’ (BBC & RTE) ‘The Fall’ (BBC) ‘The Good Wife’ (CBS) and ‘Touch’ (FOX).

 Theatre credits include ‘Stones in his Pockets’, in the New Ambassador’s theater London, ‘Driving Miss Daisy, at the Gaiety Theatre Dublin.

 Simon has presented several award-winning documentary series, including ‘The Tales of Irish castles’ for TV3, ‘Chain Reactions’ for RTE, and ‘The Green Devils’ for MUTV (Manchester United television).

 He has also hosted the Irish Film & Television awards on four occasions, and has been nominated in the Best Actor category four times.
